#100daysofowlfeelings is a personal project I started in the spring of 2016. I used a 150-year-old book as a diary, transforming my inner landscape into an owl daily. I kept this practice as an intimate diary, encrypting fragments from daily life into symbols, colors, and shapes. Some pages have phrases or words that felt significant on that particular day. Works from this series include abundant explorations of different mediums and techniques, which gave me total creative freedom. These paintings will never be reproduced as prints. Each painting is unique, and once it’s gone - it’s gone.
