The winding road in a desert is going far into the horizon - a road that no one will walk for me. The darkness is full of stars if we could only stand still to notice them. Rooting into the self like seed roots in a dark, warm earth.

I started this painting in a deep, lush summer forest of Upstate New York and finished it in my Brooklyn studio. It’s a mirror painting of Raspberry Sunrise (as shown in the last photo).
